Director PV Giri's Telugu movie Nandini Nursing Home starring Naveen Vijay Krishna, Nithya and Sravya, has received positive reviews and rich ratings from film critics.
Nandini Nursing Home is a horror comedy film and PV Giri has written the story and screenplay for the movie. Chando (Naveen Vijay Krishna) wants to earn some quick bucks. So, he fakes his qualification and becomes a junior doctor in Nandini Nursing Home in Hyderabad. But some untoward incidents spoil the hospital's reputation. What happens next creates a laugh riot.
PV Giri has chosen a routine storyline and tried his best to showcase it in a fresh way. He has maintained the suspense elements throughout the film. The climax is sentimental and one of the highlights of the movie. But it is lengthy, has slow-paced narration and lacks logic in parts, say the critics.
Naveen Vijay Krishna, who is making his acting debut, has done justice to his role and proves his mettle in his first attempt. Nithya and Sravya have also done their jobs well. Vennela Kishore, Shakalaka Shankar and Saptagiri's comedy is one of the attractions of Nandini Nursing Home. The film's good production values, picturisation and background score are the highlights on the technical front.
Nandini Nursing Home has been rated an average of three out of five stars. We bring you some critics' verdict and ratings for the film. Continue to see them in the Nandini Nursing Home movie review roundup:

Despite the story being set in a hospital throughout the film, you don't feel claustrophobic. The freshness and compactness of the story, without any diversions, make it enjoyable and a time pass watch.
India Glitz Ratings: 3
A film that could have been a nail-biting roller-coaster of emotions. While the hero's characterization is found wanting, the film nurses many laughs, and nurtures a suspenseful screenplay.

During the release of this film, nothing much was expected from Navin Vijay Krishna. But the young actor surprises everyone and makes a superb debut. The major asset of the film is the way both comedy and suspense have been narrated quite cleverly. If you ignore the slightly lengthy runtime, Nandini Nursing Home ends up as an entertaining watch this weekend.
Chitramala Ratings 3
Director P V Giri has showed his skills in writing. The writing of the film is so good that he became half successful at that point itself. Instead of choosing a new point, he has taken the old point and tried to show case it in a very new and fresh manner. The way the director has hold the pre climax twist is impressive. He never lost the momentum or the flow in the film. Every actor of the film has their own significance and it made the film very special as we can connect to the characters. The climax is one major highlight and the way everyone performed in the climax impresses us.

'Nandini Nursing Home' generates some laughs but the movie is overall an amateurish effort from the new director.
