Monisha
Monisha was one of the most celebrated heroines in Mollywood during the late 1980s. The actress who won the National Award for her performance in Nakhakshathangal died in a car accident at the age of 21.
The accident happened on December 5, 1992 in Cherthala, Alappuzha. In her very short career, Monisha worked with several noted Mollywood directors like Priyadarshan, Kamal, Ajayan and Hariharan.
Taruni Sachdev
Taruni Sachdev initially shot to limelight after she appeared in an advertisement of Rasna. She became a noted child actress after she appeared in Malayalam movie Vellinakshathram which featured Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. The film became a superhit at the box-office and Taruni's performance as the child ghost received positive acclaim from all corners.
Taruni later appeared with Amitabh Bachchan in the movie Paa. Unfortunately, her glorious career faced an abrupt end as she died in Agni Air Dornier 228 plane crash in Nepal on May 14, 2012. It should be noted that the starlet said Adios to the material world on the day of her 14th birthday.
Nandamuri Harikrishna
Nandamuri Harikrishna, the father of superstar Jr NTR and the son of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NT Rama Rao, died in a road accident on August 29. The actor-politician who has always tried to maintain rapport with his fans was apparently travelling to Kavali in Nellore district to attend the wedding ceremony of a fan.
Police officials revealed that Nandamuri Harikrishna was driving his Fortuner when it crashed into the road median on Nalgonda Highway. Some of the noted movies in the career of Nandamuri Harikrishna are Seetharama Raju, Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo and Seetayya.
Soundarya
Charming actress Soundarya was once the uncrowned princess of the Indian film industry. The actress had marked her presence felt in various industries including Bollywood, Mollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood, and Sandalwood.
In 2004, the actress joined BJP and started attending various election campaigns. On April 17, 2004, Soundarya and her brother Amarnath died in an aircraft crash near Bangalore.
Some of the noted movies in Soundarya's career includes Chokka Thangam, Seetayya, Yathrakarude Shraddakku and Apthamitra.
Yasho Sagar
Yasho Sagar made a promising entry in the entertainment industry with the movie Ullasamga Utsahamga. The film was dubbed and released in Malayalam and was later remade into Kannada.
However, the career of Yasho Sagar faced an abrupt ending when he died in a car accident on December 25, 2012.
Nandamuri Janakiram
Nandamuri Harikrishna's son Nandamuri Janakiram had also lost his life in an accident. The tragic incident happened on December 6, 2014, when Janakiram was travelling to Vijayawada from Hyderabad.
