Director Kodi Ramakrishna's Telugu movie Nagabharanam featuring Ramya aka Divya Spandana and late Vishnuvardhan in the lead roles, has received mixed reviews from the audience.
Nagabharanam is an epic-fantasy film and Kodi Ramakrishna has written the story for the film. Sajid Qureshi, Sohail Ansari and Dhaval Gada have bankrolled the movie under the banners Inbox Pictures, Blockbuster Studios and Pen Movies. Gurukiran has composed the music, while HC Venu handled the cinematography for the movie.
The story of Nagabharanam is about Sakti Kavacham, which saves the world on a solar eclipse day, when God's powers fail to do so. Sivayya (Sai Kumar) has been taking care of Sakti Kavacham for many decades, but his daughter Nagamma (Ramya) loses it in a fight with evil powers. How Nagamma takes rebirth as Manasa (Ramya) to get back the Sakti Kavacham forms the crux of the story.
As protagonist, Ramya has delivered a decent performance, which is the highlight of Nagabharanam. The role of Vishnuvardhan created through VFX is another big attraction of the movie. Diganth, Saikumar, Rajesh Vivek, Darshan, Sadhu Kokila, Mukul Dev, Ravi Kale and Rangayana Raghu have done justice to their roles, according to the audience.
