"Nach Baliye 7" has been marketed as a show that guarantees 'too much' fun, and now the makers are taking a notch higher by adding a twist to it.
According to a Tellychakkar report, for a special episode, the existing contestants – Upen Patel-Karishma Tanna, Nandish Sandhu-Rashami Desai, Sana Saeed-Dipesh Patel, Himmanshoo Malhotra-Amruta Khanvilkar, Mayuresh Wadkar-Ajisha Shah – will be joined by popular TV actors/dancers – Salman Yussuf Khan, Sargun Mehta, Mukti Mohan, Karanvir Bohra and Kunwar Anwar, respectively.
The episode is to be shot soon and will be aired in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, the dance reality show has been keeping afloat on the controversies more than the performances delivered by the couples.
Reportedly, Preity Zinta will be axed from the show for throwing tantrums. There have been conjectures that the actress calls for random breaks resulting in shoot delays. Also, word has it, she has had a major fallout with the makers recently.
This apart, the participants are doing their bit to grab the headlines. Rashami was in the news for faking an ankle injury. The incident triggered massive rage among the contestants.
Also, Upen and Karishma are known to have attitude problems. According to reports, the "36 China Town" actor even left a unit member crying.
The popular couple apparently resorted to unfair means during the weekday tasks, which irked fellow contestants. Upen's frequent trips to the bathroom made others suspicious of his intent. Also, Karishma reportedly refused to participate in one of the tasks and stayed in her bed.
