"Nach Baliye 7" has been in the news for a long time due to the injuries some of the contestants sustained while preparing for their acts on the dance show.
After Aishwarya Sakhuja's husband Rohit Nag accidentally slapped himself very hard, resulting in a swelling, Amruta Khanvilkar's husband Himmanshoo Ashok Malhotra fell and hurt his leg.
His left knee had been bandaged after the injury. While rehearsing for another performance, he fell on the same side that made the pain worse. He has been prescribed strong painkillers for now.
"The injury to the left knee happened in the second performance. Somehow, he continued dancing after bandaging the area. But in another act, Himmamshoo ended up hurting the same area after he fell from a height. Now, he has been on heavy painkillers to sustain himself during the hectic rehearsals," a source said, according to The Times of India.
However, these are not the only injuries. Eliminated couple Sana Saeed and Dipesh Patel were shown the exit door after they couldn't complete their performance. According to reports, Sana slipped and hurt herself during the act, which forced her boyfriend to dance with one of their choreographers.
A few days ago, Sangram Singh stepped hard on Payal Rohatgi's foot. "Payal is performing well in the contest. She is a nice dancer but her partner Sangram Singh is not a pro at it. During a rehearsal session, Sangram went on to stomp on Payal's foot, leaving her in extreme pain. The foot was all blue. Doctors came in and checked on her," a source informed Telly Chakkar.
The dance reality show has been garnering unwanted attention, thanks to the contestants. After Rashami Desai was accused of faking an ankle injury, Karishma Tanna-Upen Patel were rumoured to have been resorting to unfair means for their weekday tasks.
