The celebrity dance show, "Nach Baliye", is all set for its next season and with the Balaji head-honcho Ekta Kapoor joining as a co-producer, the show is set to get some make-over.
According to a report in DNA, Kapoor intends to bring in some couples from previous seasons as wild-card entrants or as challengers.
The report suggest that Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar, the winners of the first season and Jay Bhanushali and Mahi Vij, who won the fifth season will apparently participate in the new season.
Further, unlike the previous seasons, the dance show will have a new format, along the lines of "Bigg Boss Halla Bol".
The participants will have no contact with the outside world including their family members for the duration of the show.
With such strict measures, the makers hope to make the show more entertaining for viewers.
That's not all, to bring in some freshness to the show, the makers have decided to replace the previous seasons' judges with more popular Bollywood personalities.
Recently, Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were considered to judge the upcoming season.
However, it has now been learnt that Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, Chetan Bhagat and choreographer Marzi Pestonji are in advanced talks with the makers and are likely to replace previous seasons' judge Shilpa Shetty, Sajid Khan and Terence Lewis.
Further, the seventh season will have Karan Patel of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" and Rithvik Dhanjani as the new host. Karan and Rithvik will replace Karan Wahi and Gautam Rode, who hosted previous two seasons of the show.
There were also rumours about the possible contestants of "Nach Baliye 7". Kamaal R Khan, Mahesh Bhatt and wife Soni Razdan, Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna, Esha Deol and her husband, Bharat Takhtani, are some of the contestants that have been approached to participate in the upcoming season.
