'Nach Baliye 7' Couple Upen Patel-Karishma Tanna Signs International Project

"Nach Baliye 7" couple Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna are on a roll. After impressing the judges on the reality dance show, the lovebirds have managed to draw Chinese filmmaker Edd Liu's attention.

Thirlled and excited about the new project, they took to their Twitter accounts to share the happy news.

While Karishma wrote, "Super excited about signing up with Chinese director @DirectorEddLiu #NewAdventure (sic)," Upen posted, "Thank God.Looking fwd 2China trip wit @karishma_tanna 4this project @DirectorEddLiu (sic)".

In other news, the pair has been consistently delivering stunning dance performances but at the same time had become an object of scorn for being rude.

Reportedly, the "36 China Town" actor's harshness left a unit member in tears, after which she quit the job. Also, fellow participants suspected them of resorting to unfair means to ace the compatibility tests.

"They claim that Upen has been storing the answers to his compatibility tasks in the cell phone, which was found on the sets. He would leave the phone in a predecided location, away from prying eyes and Karishma would access it to figure out the clues to the given tasks," Mid-Day quoted a source as saying.

Quite understandably, Upen and Karishma's journey on the show hasn't been easy. Judge Chetan Bhagat tagged them as a 'reality' couple, and wrote them off after their debut performance itself. However, they have only grown stronger and have proved themselves to be a 'real' jodi.
