"Nach Baliye 7" has been under the scanner ever since it went on air and the contestants seem to be firing up controversies at a wholesale rate.
After Upen Patel-Karishma Tanna, Himmanshoo Malhotra and Amruta Khanvilkar have reportedly violated show rules.
Talking to Mid Day, a source revealed how they were urging fans to vote for them a night before their performance was to be telecast.
"The episode featuring elimination results was supposed to be aired on Sunday and normally, voting begins on the same night after the contestants' performances get over. However, Himanshoo and Amruta have violated rules and appealed to their fans for votes on social media 24 hours earlier. They, however, deleted the post on getting negative reactions from some fans," the insider further elaborated.
Apparently, this incident didn't go down well with other participants.
However, this isn't the first time that the reality show is under the scanner because of its contestants. Earlier, Rashami Desai managed to grab a few headlines for faking an injury and jetting off to Los Angeles for a performance.
Upen and Karishma too were in soup for having resorted to unfair means in the compatibility tasks. Additionally, the couple irked fellow-contestants by not adhering to the rules. Reportedly, the "36 China Town" actor wouldn't show up on time for tasks, while his ladylove would snug in her bed.
In other news, there's a strong buzz that special celebrity guests and ex-contestants will be seen performing at the finale.
