"Nach Baliye 7" has been managing to entertain viewers by bringing in twists and turn in the dance reality show.
However, it was recently was in the news for all the wrong reasons, when Rashami Desai was slammed for having faked an ankle injury.
And now, reports have been doing the rounds that popular couple Karishma Tanna and Upen Patel too have been receiving flak from their co-contestants.
According to reports, during the shoots on Wednesday, the participants had a heated argument with Karishma and Upen, accusing the couple of resorting to unfair means to win the compatibility tests.
As per the rules of the compatible round, contestants are prohibited from interacting with each other and using their cell phones. Apparently, Upen's frequent trips to the wash rooms made the rest suspect foul play between the "Bigg Boss 8" contestants.
"They claim that Upen has been storing the answers to his compatibility tasks in the cell phone, which was found on the sets. He would leave the phone in a predecided location, away from prying eyes and Karishma would access it to figure out the clues to the given tasks." a source told Mid Day.
"Karishma and Upen have known each other only for a few months, but have still been getting full marks in the tests. The other couples, some of whom have been married for decades, have failed to give all right answers. This made them suspicious of foul play," the source added.
The participants have now demanded that action should be taken against the couple.
Meanwhile, there were reports that the makers of the show have approached actresses Sonia Balani and Hiba Nawab to replace host Karan Patel, who is on a break after his wedding to Ankita Bhargava.
Sonia, who plays Panchi in "Tu Mera Hero", and Hiba aka Amaya Mathur in "Tere Sheher Mein", are said to host an episode along with Rithvik Dhanjani.
