'Nach baliye 7' has been under the radar for controversies some of the couples have triggered, and now one of the judges are set to be replaced with a popular choreographer-turned-filmmaker.
According to a Tellychakkar report, Preity Zinta has to take off to another country for an 'unavoidable commitment' and filling in for her will be "ABCD 2" director Remo d'Souza, who will also promote his upcoming dance film on the show.
Word has it, D'Souza will only be judging contestants for an episode. However, if the actress fails to return in a week's time, he will continue to be part of the panel until she has arrived.
In other news, the voting lines will reportedly be open for viewers to vote for their favourite couple in a few days' time.
One from the top 6 couples - Karishma Tanna-Upen Patel, Rashami Desai-Nandish Sandhu, Amruta Khanvilkar-Himmanshoo Malhotra, Sana Saeed-Dipesh Patel, Mayuresh Wadkar-Ajisha Shah, and Aishwarya Sakhuja-Rohit Nag - will be eliminated this week after which remaining pairs will head out of the safe house to prep for the semi-finals and grand finale.
While interesting episodes are lined up for those hooked to the dance show, "Nach Baliye 7" has been under the scanner for several cheating cases. After Rashami was accused of faking an ankle injury, participants were left irked on learning that popular couple Upen and Karishma were resorting to unfair means to accomplish the weekday tasks.
Also, their high-handedness have put them in the bad books and reportedly not many can see them eye-to-eye on the sets.
