Colors' new weekend show "Naagin" is grabbing eyeballs with its interesting twists and turns. Such is the viewership of the show that it has surpassed all other popular shows to grab the top position in TRP charts.
And to raise the drama quotient a notch higher, the makers have added a new cast member.
Priya Shinde of "Spiltsvilla" fame will enter the show. Priya will play the role of Mrs Suri, a family friend of Ritik's (Arjun Bijlani) father.
Priya's on-screen character will reportedly be a positive and beautiful lady. Her husband Mr Suri, played by Mazher Sayed, will be seen deeply in love with her.
"Suri would have been directly involved in the 'naagmani' incident years back, along with Ritik's father. Suri will have six fingers in his hand, and the naagin will be aware of one of the killers possessing an extra finger. Once the naagin notices Suri and his extra finger, she will try to take her revenge," a source told Telly Chakkar.
There were also reports that TV actress Komolika Guha will enter the show as a Guru Maa.
Meanwhile, in the show, Ritik and Shivanya (Mouni Roy) are all set to tie the knot. Interestingly, Ritik was engaged and supposed to marry Tanvi (Pooja Sharma), but she backed out fearing for her life after seeing Viren (Vimarsh Roshan) slip into coma after being bitten by Shivanya.
