It was recently reported that popular television actress Mouni Roy, who is basking in the success of "Naagin," is all set to make her Bollywood debut. The actress was said to have signed "Wazir" director Bejoy Nambiar's untitled next, which is the remake of Mani Ratnam's Tamil blockbuster "Agni Nachathiram" (1988).
While fans of the gorgeous actress are excited about her Bollywood debut, Mouni has denied being approached for any such film. "It is not true," she told Bollywood life, adding that she learnt about it only from the media reports.
The reports said that the film was an action thriller and was based on the troubled relationship of two step-brothers. Apparently, the two brothers were supposed to be played by "Sanam Teri Kasam" actor Harshvardhan Rane and "Masaan" actor Vicky Kaushal. Mouni has reportedly been roped in as the female lead in the film.
Meanwhile, Mouni is currently hosting dance-based reality show "So You Think You Can Dance" and will start shooting for the next instalment of "Naagin" in a couple of months. There were reports that in Season 2, Mouni would be paired opposite Shakti Arora of "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi" fame.
Further, the new season would see Mouni as Shivanya (Mouni) and Rithik's (Arjun) daughter. The makers had recently released the teaser of "Naagin 2," which featured lead actress Mouni and a new cast, whose identity has not been revealed in the video.
