Arjun Bijlani, who charmed the viewers with his role of Rithik on supernatural show "Naagin," has reportedly bagged the male lead role on popular show "Tashan-E-Ishq," barely a week after "Naagin" ended.
According to reports, Arjun will be replacing Sidhant Gupta aka Kunj after the latter decided to quit the show. Sidhant decided to take the exit route as he was offered a bigger and better project, which he couldn't refuse. "I am whatever I am today because of the show, but I might have to quit as the project offered to me is big. The channel obviously wouldn't want to let the male lead leave a show, but one has to move on. I hope things work out between us," Sidhant had said the Times of India.
Meanwhile, Arjun will make a dramatic entry on the show as Kunj, who will be shown to have met with an accident and returned to the family after a plastic surgery. "Kunj meets with an accident and his face will be shown covered. Later, it will be revealed that he is Kunj with a new face after plastic surgery," a source associated with the show told the Times of India.
With the entry of popular actor Arjun, it now remains to be seen if the ratings of "Tashan-E-Ishq" also increases.
In other news, Arjun made headlines recently when he got emotional on the last day of "Naagin" shoot. The actor took to his Twitter handle to thank his fans and the team for the love showered on him.
"Naagin" was widely watched by the masses and had topped the Television Rating Points (TRP) charts since its inception. Arjun and Mouni Roy's sizzling chemistry was also loved by millions. However, there were reports that Arjun would not be a part of the new season of "Naagin," which would see the previous season's lead actresses Mouni and Adaa Khan.
