Here's some good news for fans of supernatural show "Naagin." The show, which is nearing its end, will return with a new season in just a couple of months. According to a SpotboyE report, the next instalment of Ekta Kapoor's finite series will go on the floors soon.
Also, the report said that Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan would continue to be a part of the new season. Apparently, Mouni would return as Shivanya (Mouni) and Rithik's (Arjun Bijlani) daughter, while popular actor Nandish Sandhu had been roped in for the new season as Vikram Bhanupratap Singh. Aashka Goradia, who recently entered the ongoing season as Ichchadhari Madhumakhi, would play a key role in Season 2.
The team of "Naagin" recently shot their last episode, which will be aired in the upcoming weekend. On the last day of shoot, Arjun got emotional and took to his Twitter handle to thank his fans and the team for the love showered on him. "Emotions running high, getting ready for the last day of shoot, thank you to all of you and team. #Naagin @ColorsTV @balajimotionpic," Arjun had posted.
It was reported that Arjun would sport a warrior's look similar to that of Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh in "Bajirao Mastani" in the last episode of "Naagin." The sequence would see Arjun as the younger version of Sangram Singh, wherein he would fight with Mahishmatis and successfully defeat them as well.
The makers have also included a dramatic climax sequence between the good and bad naagin, Shivanya and Sesha (Adaa Khan), respectively. Both the naagins will get involved in a huge fight for the possession of Naagmani. However, to everyone's surprise, Sesha will stab Shivanya with a knife, which will result in the latter's death. Shivanya will finally take her last breath in her love Rithik's (Arjun Bijlani) arms.
While the viewers must be disappointed with Shivanya's death, it has been reported that "Naagin" will end on a happy note.
