Rumour has it that popular television actress Mouni Roy is set to be launched on the big screen by none other than Salman Khan.
According to DNA, Salman believes that Mouni has all the qualities of traditional Indian heroines and is planning to launch her in one of his upcoming home productions.
"Salman had seen the same spark in Sonakshi Sinha when he launched her in Dabangg. He sees Mouni as being extremely desi, a traditional Indian heroine draped in a saree. He is looking at launching Mouni in one of his forthcoming home productions," a source told DNA.
Mouni bonded with Salman on the sets of Bigg Boss where the former used to make appearances because of her popular series Naagin that runs on the same channel.
If the rumour turns out to be true, it would surely excite millions of fans of the actress, who would want to see her as the lead actress on the big screen.
Last year, Mouni had sizzled in item song Ki Kariye Nachna Aaonda Nahin from film Tum Bin 2. The gorgeous actress had garnered huge appreciation for her performance.
On the other hand, Salman will next be seen in Kabir Khan's Tubelight, the teaser trailer of which will be release on Thursday, May 4. He also has Tiger Zinda Hai alongside Katrina Kaif.
