Tamil lyricist Na Muthukumar's sudden death has shocked the South Indian entertainment industry. The two times National award winning writer passed away on Sunday in Chennai, leaving all his fans heart-broken.
Na Muthukumar was suffering from severe jaundice that eventually caused his demise. The much popular lyricist was just 41. While several celebrities from the South film industry has been expressing grief at his demise, Twitter is flooded with reactions from fans.
Na Muthukumar died on Sunday morning and soon his name started trending on social media. Fans have been mourning the death of the Tamil lyricist and wish for his soul to rest in peace. While some fans asserted about the big loss to the Tamil film industry, some others said that Na Muthukumar will remain immortal through his songs.
Muthukumar had started his career as an assistant director under Balu Mahendra. He first worked as a lyricist for the movie "Veera Nadai" and soon after became one of the most popular Tamil writers.
