Following the success of Season 5 of the children's animated series "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic", Discovery Family has decided to bring it back for yet another season. Although Season 6 was confirmed back in March 2015, the premiere dates have not been confirmed yet.
However, from the trend we have seen in the past seasons, we can hope for an April 2016 release and for the season feature 26 episodes, much like the first five. When we return to the magical land of Equestria in 2016, we will get to meet the studious young unicorn Princess Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong) who lives in Ponyville village.
She lives there with her five pony friends Applejack, Rainbow Dash (both voiced by Ashleigh Ball), Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie (both voiced by Andrea Libman) and Rarity (Tabitha St Germain), who teach each other about the most powerful magic there ever was – friendship.
Although these haven't been officially confirmed, "Cutie Castle Part One" and "Cutie Castle Part Two" are said to be the first two episodes of the season. Rumours also suggest Starlight Glimmer, who was the main antagonist of the Season 5 premiere and finale, may become a regular cast member in Season 6.
We will be posting more information about the upcoming Season 6 of "My Little Pony", from fan theories to spoilers, in the days to come. Do not forget to check them out ahead of the premiere.
