Turkey based smartphone maker General Mobile has launched GM 5 Plus in Barcelona, making it the first Google-sponsored Android One series to debut at MWC (Mobile World Congress) event.
The new GM 5 Plus is a mid-range smartphone and flaunts a metal frame around the edges with textured cover on the back. In the front, it comes with 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
Under the hood, it houses Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory and a 3,100 mAh battery.
Being Google's Android One program affiliated phone, GM 5 Plus runs on the latest v6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and is guaranteed to get future updates first before any other Android phones.
Another key aspect of GM 5 Plus is its camera. It boasts 13MP selfie camera with dedicated LED flash on the front. GM 5 Plus also features same 13MP camera but with dual-LED flash support.
