All eyes are on the upcoming Mobile World Conference 2015 (MWC 2015) to be held in Barcelona from 2-5 March, and some of the world's biggest smartphone makers are expected to launch their few flagship smartphones at the event. Much-hyped devices like HTC One (M9), Sony Xperia Z4 and Samsung Galaxy S6 are likely to see the light of day at the event.
HTC One (M9): The next-generation device from HTC is expected to be announced on 1 March. It is expected to come with features like 20MP main camera and an HTC UltraPixel front snapper, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 5-inch screen, and seen in gold, gray and silver, a source told Bloomberg. The source also claimed that the device would have "Dolby Laboratories Inc.'s Dolby 5.1 audio technology and HTC's latest Sense 7 user interface with improved location-based services"
According to a tweet by China-based HTC leaker @upleaks, the HTC One (M9) will have features like 5-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 20.7MP main camera and 13MP or UltraPixel 4MP front snapper, 3GB RAM, 2840mAh battery, and HTC Sense 7.
Sony Xperia Z4: The device was expected to be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 but it didn't happen. It is now likely to be announced at the MWC 2015.
There are conflicting reports on features of the device. GSMArena reported that it would have a 5.2-inch 1440 x 2560px Triluminos display, Snapdragon 810 chipset, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 20.7MP camera, 3,400mAh battery and water resistance feature. It was earlier reported that the device would sport either a 5.4-inch or 5.5-inch screen, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, come packed with 32GB internal memory and 4GB RAM, house 20.7MP main camera and 4.8MP front snapper, 3420 mAh battery, and Qi Wireless Charging.
Samsung Galaxy S6: The Galaxy S5 successor is expected to be unveiled at the MWC 2015. It is expected to sport a 5.5-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixels, powered by a Exynos 7420 processor, run on Android 5.0 Lollipop, house a 20MP main camera and 5MP front snapper, and come packed with 32GB of internal memory and 3GB RAM.
