Italian superbike manufacturer MV Agusta has announced the commencement of bookings for the Brutale 1090 in India.
The company, which inked a deal with Pune based Kinetic group to sell its superbikes in India, has started accepting the bookings online through www.motoroyale.in. The company will deliver the new Brutale 1090 superbike to the first 10 customers in the next 20 days. To be brought to India as CBU, the Brutale 1090 has been pegged at an introductory price of Rs 19.3 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).
Powered by a 1,078cc four-cylinder four-stroke 16-valve engine, which can churn out 144bhp of maximum power at 10,300rpm and a peak torque of 112Nm at 8,100rpm paired to a six-speed gearbox, MV Agusta Brutale 1090 can attain a top speed of 265kph.
The Brutale 1090 is available in two paint shades – matt black and matt white -- and features Marzocchi upside-down telescopic front forks and gets a Sachs monoshock absorber at the rear. The stopping power is handled by dual 310 mm disc brakes with Brembo 4-piston callipers at the front and 210 mm disc with a Nissin 4-piston calliper at the rear.
Built around a steel tubular trellis frame, the Brutale 1090 gets dual-stage ABS and eight-level traction control system.
