Sky is the limit for Bangladesh pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman and the way things are going for him, it seems he is not going to stop anytime soon. Rahman is all set for his first ever county stint with Sussex as the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has given him green signal to feature in the NatWest T20 Blast and Royal London Cup.
Rahman was suffering from a number of injuries that he sustained on his right leg. Now he has recovered completely and is all set to fly to England on July 13 from Bangladesh.
BCB's media committee chairman Jalal Yunus confirmed on Thursday that Mustafizur's report was positive and he could expect the visa for his U.K. stint to come through anytime soon.
"Our medical team gave positive report about his physical condition. He is doing fine in training at the moment and we expect him to improve. He will leave for England on July 13 subject to the availability of visa," Yunus was quoted as saying by AFP.
After hogging all the limelight in IPL 2016, Rahman was likely to get more calls from many of these domestic T20 leagues across the globe. Reports also suggested that Big Bash League franchises are going to battle it out for the talented left-arm seamer for the next season.
Mustafizur will play his first game for Sussex on July 15 against Hampshire. The youngster's arrival in the team will put an end to Sussex's frustration. Sussex had to hire David Wiese and then had to replace the former with Nuwan Kulasekara because Mustafizur's arrival was delayed. Mustafizur will also be available for the four One-Day matches of Royal London Cup.
