Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has announced two music-centric devices, the X6S and X6S Plus. The devices are successors of Vivo X6 and Vivo X6 Plus that were released in December last year.
According to Vivo official website (via Helpix and GSMArena), the X6S sports a 5.2-inch FullHD Super AMOLED screen with 1,080x1,920 pixels, and house an AKM4375 32-bit DAC (Digital to Analog Converter). Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, an Android 5.1 Lollipop, a 32GB/64GB internal storage, a 4GB RAM, a 13MP main camera, an 8MP front-snapper, and a 2,400mAh battery.
On the other hand, the X6S Plus has a 5.7-inch FullHD Super AMOLED screen with 1,080x1,920 pixels and an ES9028 DAC within YAMAHA YSS-205X audio processor. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, an Android 5.1 Lollipop, a 32GB/64GB internal storage, a 4GB RAM, a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front-snapper, and a 3,000mAh battery.
Both the devices support dual-SIM, rear fingerprint sensor, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0 with USB OTG and GPS. The Vivo X6S comes with a price tag of 2,598 Yuan (around $400/Rs. 26,665) and the Vivo X6S Plus is priced at 2,998 Yuan (around $470/Rs. 30,771). GSMArena reported that Vivo will start shipping the devices April 5.
It may be mentioned that Vivo has already released a few devices like Vivo XPlay 5, Xplay 5 Elite, and Y31A this year.
