It is common knowledge that artists bring their A-game to "Music Bank" performances. After all, some of the best bands in the K-pop scene take the stage at the event. In the past, bands like Wonder Girls, EXO, Super Junior and many more have performed on stage. (Fans of K-pop would nod their heads at this point).
The televised screening of the music competition on Friday, 21 August was no different. Several bands such as Wonder Girls, T-ara, B1A4, Baechigi, Blady, Yoo Seung Woo, Lim Tae Kyung, Kim So Jung, Yeon Bun Hong, and Asia, dazzled the crowd.
On the music television programme, Girls' Generation performed "Lion Heart". HyunA sang his hit song "Because I'm the Best". VIXX LR made their debut with "Beautiful Liar". Other performances included SG Wannabe's "Heart Beating"; Stephanie's "Prisoner" and Juniel's "Singer", reported Allkpop.
Nevertheless, the top performers of the night were BIGBANG and B1A4. Both bands were nominated for the first place but BIGBANG stole the show and bagged the first place. Their hit song "Let's Not Fall In Love" from their latest album, "MADE", won them the first place.
This is BIGBANG's third consecutive win in a music competition. Last week, the band won the first place in "Show! Music Core!"
Members G-Dragon, T.O.P, Seungri and Taeyang shared a proud moment as the announcement was made.
The band has been riding on the success of their new album "MADE" and is currently on a world tour to promote it.
