Director AR Murugadoss, who is currently working on "Kaththi", has revealed that he has a complete script ready for 'thala' Ajith.
Murugadoss has worked twice with some of Tamil's leading actors. He has worked with Suriya in "Ghajini" and "7Aum Arivu", while with 'Ilayathalapathy' Vijay, Murugadoss has done "Thuppakki" and is currently working on "Kaththi."
The director's debut film "Dheena" had Ajith in a mass action hero role. The film was one of the most important projects in both the actor and director's career. But despite the success of the film, Murugadoss is yet to team up with Ajith again.
Murugadoss has already expressed a desire to work again with thala, though it is not clear as to when it will materialise. In a recent interview to Anantha Vikatan, the director stated that he met Ajith three times after completing "Thuppakki" but the project has been delayed. He also revealed that a complete script is ready for Ajith and is also willing to start it in a short notice, once the actor gives the nod.
"I am waiting for him always. I met Ajith 3 times, after Thuppakki but somehow our project keeps getting delayed. If things fall in place, I actually have a complete script ready for him from the start to the climax, and I can start the film at a short notice," Murugadoss said in the interview, according to Behindwoods.
If the Ajith-Murugadoss project goes on floor, it will be a real treat for the actor and the director's fans. But it is not clear as to when the project will happen.
Ajith is currently busy with the untitled Gautham Menon film. The film's shoot is expected to be completed by September and it might hit the screens in November. And post the completion of "Thala 55" (Ajith's 55th film), the actor is expected to team up with director "Siruthai" Siva for a new project.
Murugadoss, on the other hand, will commence his third Hindi project, starring Sonakshi Sinha, after wrapping up "Kaththi." With both Ajith and Murugadoss having other commitments, a new project in their association might take some time to happen.
Meanwhile, Murugadoss also spoke about having Ajith and Vijay together in a film. The director stated that it is a tough task to have both big stars aboard the same project. But if the actors agree to do a film together, then he is willing to ready a script in just two months.
