Four people of one family have reportedly been killed in a cylinder blast in Santacruz in Mumbai on Thursday.
Three others were injured in the incident that occurred in a chawl in Santacruz at about 11.00 am, according to The Times of India.
The cylinder blast was reported from the Bhola Singh Chawl in the Golibar area of Santacruz, a suburb in Mumbai, due to a gas leak while the cylinder was being changed.
All the four deceased are from one family, and have been identified as Rajdev Dikshit, 50, Kapil Dikshit, 40, Rajendra Dikshit, 30, Yeshwant Dikshit, 18, according to IANS.
The injured, one with 90 percent burns, are being treated at the V.N. Desai Hospital, according to the agency.
