Much-awaited Mukunda Murari, featuring two big stars Upendra and Sudeep, is releasing on October 28. The Kannada movie was supposed to hit the screens this week. But it was delayed to avoid clash with a few successfully-running Kannada movies.
Mukunda Murari is expected to release in over 200 screens in Karnataka. It will be clashing with Yash and Radhika Pandit's much-hyped film Santhu Straight Forward, which is also likely to release big. Apart from this flick, it will be locking horns with non-Kannada films, including Bollywood movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Tamil movies Kodi and Kaashmora and others.
The advance booking for Mukunda Murari has already started in a few theatres. The early reports emerging from the industry says that there is a good hype around the Kannada film.
Initially, the makers had planned to release Mukunda Murari on 21 October. But they changed their plans to avoid clashes with biggies like Ramya's Nagarahaavu, Puneeth Rajkumar's Dodmane Huduga, Yogaraj Bhat's Dana Kayonu and Prakash Raj's Idolle Ramayana.
Mukunda Murari is written and directed by Nanda Kishore of Victory and Ranna fame. It is a remake of hit Bollywood movie Oh My God, which starred Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in the leads.
The movie has Nikita Thukral, Ishita Vyas, P Ravishankar, Tabla Nani, Avinash and others in the cast. Arjun Janya has composed the music, Sudhakar S Raj is the cinematographer and JM Prakash is the editor of the flick.
