Upcoming Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan will be seen as a Thrissur native in his next, which will be directed by Sathyan Anthikkad. Mukesh will plays Dulquer's father, a businessman, in the untitled flick.
Mukesh, who has acted with Dulquer's father, megastar Mammootty, in many superhit movies, is joining hands with the young actor for the first time. Also, this is the first time Dulquer will be seen speaking in Thrissur dialect. It has to be noted that Mammootty was praised for his turn as a Thrissur native in the superhit movie "Pranchiyettan & the Saint" in 2010. The Dulquer-starrer is expected to open to positive response as Malayalam movies based on Thrissur have always been accepted well by viewers for the unique dialect used by the natives of the cultural capital of Kerala.
The untitled Sathyan movie is expected to go on floors in the month of July after Dulquer wraps up the shooting of Amal Neerad's next. Dulquer plays a Kottayam achayan (a term used to describe Syrian Christians in Kerala) in the untitled Amal movie. Anu Emmanuel of "Action Hero Biju" fame will be seen opposite Dulquer in the film, which is being shot in Palai and other parts of Kottayam.
