Star kids Gokul Suresh and Arthana Vijayakumar are making their acting debut in Malayalam with the upcoming movie "Mudhugauv." The makers of the upcoming romantic entertainer have released the first-look posters of the film's lead actors.
Superstar Suresh Gopi's son Gokul plays the lead character Bharath, opposite actor Vijayakumar's daughter Arthana, who will be seen as Ganga in the debut directorial venture of Vipin Das. "Introducing our heroine who has surprised us all with her acting skills. She is sure to make it big, [sic]" the makers wrote about Arthana on the Facebook page of the movie, which is the seventh project of the production company Friday Film House, owned by actors Sandra Thomas and Vijay Babu.
The name of the movie has been derived from a famous dialogue from the superhit 1994 Malayalam film "Thenmavin Kombath," starring Mohanlal and Sobhana, and means "kiss."
The makers of the film had earlier released a first-look poster of the movie that showed a couple on a beach. While Rahul Raj has composed the music for "Mudhugauv," Kugan S Palani and Lijo Paul have handled the cinematography and editing, respectively.
The movie has been in the news ever since it went on floors for being the debut film of Gokul, and initially, "Loham"-fame Niranjana Anoop was said to play the female lead in it. She was later replaced by Arthana. "Mudhugauv" is expected to hit the screens by the second half of 2016.
