Rannvijay Singha, who is currently judging Renault MTV "Roadies X4," proved that he is a true roadie. Rannvijay saved a contestant from drowning during a task for an upcoming episode of "Roadies X4."
The reality show is reaching towards its finale and the tasks are getting difficult for the contestants. During a pre-finale stage, a task was performed alongside a river, where contestants had to cross the river. However, for one of the contestants named Karishma the task turned out to be a difficult one.
Karishma experienced a near-death situation when her float capsized and she fell in the river. But to rescue her, gang leader Rannvijay jumped into the water and saved her.
"It was a dangerous task which required Karishma to cross the river. During her attempt, her float capsized and she fell into the raging waters. It was a scary situation and someone needed to act soon. Without sparing a second, Rannvijay jumped into the cold water and pulled her out," IANS quoted a source from the sets as saying.
According to the source, the currents were strong, which made it difficult for Rannvijay to maintain his balance.
"After a few minutes, he managed to pull her out to safety. It was a close call but Rannvijay just showed the contestants what it takes to be a real Roadie," the source added.
With his heroic act, Rannvijay has proved what a true Roadie spirit is all about.
MTV "Roadies X4" airs every Sunday at 7pm and this year Rannvijay, Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia, television actor Karan Kundra and "Bigg Boss 9" winner Prince Narula are judging the reality show as gang leaders.
