Prince Narula from Chandigarh won the 12th season of stunt reality show "MTV Roadies X2" after beating 21 contestants. The 25-year-old, who became the winner of MTV Roadies 2015 on Saturday, was in the finale round along with Gurmeet.
This year, the makers of the stunt reality show roped in four judges, including Esha Deol, VJ Rannvijay Singha, Olympic medalist Vijender Singh and TV actor Karan Kundra, to judge the 12th edition of "MTV Roadies".
Contestants were divided into four teams, which were headed by the celebrity judges. Prince was from Rannvijay's team, while Gurmeet was from Vijender's team. All the contestants showcased their physical and mental strengths during several tasks, which were held in India and Nepal.
The reality show was shot in various cities, including Varanasi, Kathmandu and Pokhara.
"It is a once in a lifetime experience. I lived a part of my life which is unforgettable. Not only did I win the title but also millions of hearts," Prince said after winning the show, according to IANS.
Rannvijay, Prince's mentor, said that he deserved to win the show as he performed well throughout.
"Prince has been on top of his game since the beginning of the show. He really deserved that No.1 position. I am extremely thrilled about his win and I am very happy with Gurmeet's performance also. I remember selecting them together and saying that 'I'll take you guys till the end'," Rannvijay said.
"This season of 'MTV Roadies X2' has been very different and full of emotions, surprises compared to its previous editions and also a learning of being a motivating gang leader and mentor to the contestants," he added.
Prince won a Karizma ZMR bike along a one year contract with MTV channel.
Now that the season of "MTV Roadies X2" has come to an end, it will be replaced by "MTV Splitsvilla", which is set to kick start its eighth season. The show will be aired from 4 July, and will see actress Sunny Leone and Rannvijay as hosts.
