The makers of Sushant Singh Rajput starrer "MS Dhoni -- The Untold Story" have released its poster, in which the actor looks just like Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The film is the much awaited biopic of this year and is about the life journey of the captain of the Indian cricket team.
In the poster, Sushant is seen sitting on a bench at a railway station on platform no. 8 and the poster reads: "The man you know... The journey you don't." He replicates Mahi's look when the cricketer used to have long hair.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film also features Kiara Advani as Sakshi Dhoni and Anupam Kher as Pan Singh, Mahi's father. Scheduled to be released Sept. 2, "MS Dhoni -- The Untold Story" also stars Disha Patani and "Tere Naam" actress Bhoomika Chawla, who is reportedly making a comeback with this film.
Sushant has been prepping hard to get into the shoes of the Indian skipper. The "Kai Po Che" actor had earlier shared a video on social media, in which he was seen trying to master Dhoni's popular "helicopter shot." While the first attempt did not work out that well, Sushant got the shot perfect in his second attempt.
Ever since the biopic went on floors, Sushant has been in touch with the cricketer and his family. Earlier, the actor was spotted with Dhoni on the film sets and even spent some time with Dhoni, his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva. Sushant and girlfriend Ankita Lokhande had shared a picture with Ziva as well that went viral.
Apart from "MS Dhoni -- The Untold Story," Sushant will also be seen in Dinesh Vijan's "Raabta," in which he shares screen space with Kriti Sanon. There were reports that the actor has been roped in by filmmaker Homi Adajania as well, in which Sushant will play the character of a rockstar.
