MS Dhoni: The Untold Story (MSDTUS) has made a decent collection at the Indian box office in its second weekend. The one-week-old movie has once again topped the domestic business charts beating Mirzya.
The Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer lost out a large chunk of its screen count to new Bollywood releases Mirzya, Tutak Tutak Tutiya and some big-ticket south Indian movies in its second week. MS Dhoni: The Untold Story became the second option for film-goers, which took its collection down by 80 percent on in its second Friday. The film collected Rs 4.07 crore nett at the Indian box office on its eighth day.
With some of the new releases getting mixed talk, the Neeraj Pandey-directed biopic became the first choice for its many viewers on its second Saturday. MS Dhoni: The Untold Story went from strength to strength and showed decent growth in the domestic market on the following days. The film collected Rs 5.20 crore on its second Saturday and over Rs 5.90 crore on Sunday.
MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has collected approximately over Rs 15.17 crore nett at the Indian box office in its second weekend. Its 10-day domestic total collection has reached Rs 109.40 crore nett.

MS Dhoni: The Untold Story is the fifth Hindi film to join the club of Rs 100 crore movies in 2016. It has also become the fourth highest grossing film of the year, beating the record of Housefull 3, which collected Rs 107.70 crore nett in its lifetime.

Mirzya, which was one of most-hyped Bollywood movies of 2016, was expected to start with a bang and top the domestic business charts this weekend. But this new release struggled to cross even half way through the second weekend collection of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, which has topped the collection chart, beating the new releases.
