Emraan Hashmi's "Mr X" would have sounded more appropriate if it were titled "Hollow Man 2" or "Hollow Man Returns". 'Inspired' or not, Twitter has been going crazy ever since the trailer was released on Thursday morning.
Trending as # Amazing MrX Trailer, the VFX-laden trailer shows a determined Dr. Vikram Sinhal ready to fight people who have wronged him, in his own unique way. Co-starring Amyra Dastur (in bikinis most of the time), the 3D thriller is directed by Vikram Bhatt.
While it's too early to pass a judgement on the look and feel of the film, the special effects are praise-worthy. Also, Emraan gives it his special touch by going on a kissing spree.
Interestingly, the actor has worked closely with Neil Corbould, the award-winning British special effects supervisor. "I stay updated on the latest developments in special effects and animation as I find the areas interesting. It's great that I have got a chance to be practically involved with the process in the film," Hindustan Times quoted the actor as saying.
Apart from this interesting trivia, it is being reported that Emraan would be dubbing in English, as the makers wish to go international with the film. "The makers might release Mr X internationally. To facilitate that, Emraan will be seen dubbing for the film in English as well once the formalities are worked out. Currently, however, he is training for his next film, the Mohd Azharuddin biopic," a source informed DNA.
Slated for 17 April release, the film also stars Arunoday Singh and Nora Fatehi.
