Fans of USA Network's drama-thriller series "Mr Robot" Season 2 were treated to an unexpected surprise when Elliot (Rami Malek) and his family was transported to a 90s-style sitcom in the previous episode that also included the iconic laugh tracks and an appearance by ALF.

Though the nostalgic-looking 90s vibe delighted the fans, especially those who have grown up during that era, the truth shocked the fans as it was revealed that the atmosphere was actually a creation of Mr Robot (Christian Slater) so that Elliot could survive the beating inflicted on him by Ray's (Craig Robinson) goons.

In the next episode titled "eps2.5_h4ndshake.sme," Mr Robot and Elliot might finally make a truce and will agree to work together instead of opposing each other's decisions and actions.

Elsewhere, Angela (Portia Doubleday) and Darlene (Carly Chaikin) will team up for their next mission and will keep their differences aside for this one time. In the meantime, Joanna (Stephanie Corneliussen) will receive an ultimatum, as reported by USA Network.

In the trailer of Episode 7, Elliot can be seen asking Mr Robot about the whereabouts of the young hacker Tyrell (Martin Wallstrom). Eventually, he was found in the trunk of Elliot's car.

In another part of the trailer, Dom (Grace Gummer) is seen confronting Angela and asking her what she is doing in a restricted area. Afterwards, there are glimpses of Darlene, E Corp., and Philip (Michael Cristofer) who say that everyone protects their "own secret evil agenda."

Ray's goons can also be seen, forcing Elliot to start working on a computer while Ray lingers behind him. Whether Elliot will escape from Ray's claws in the next episode or will succumb to his torture, will be seen once Episode 7 airs.
