Lenovo-owned Motorola finally announced the much-anticipated Moto M smartphone in India on Tuesday, bringing a new sense of competition to the budget premium smartphone arena. The company launched two variants of the handset, configured with 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM.
Why should I buy Moto M?
Moto M is not only one of the most-talked-about smartphones recently, but also offers true value for your money. The premium nature of the smartphone is endorsed by an all-metal body, ultra-slim bezels and a refreshing design.
Moto M features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a 2.5D curved glass on top. It also has a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with PDAF and a high-res 8MP front snapper for your selfies.
Under the hood, Moto M packs a 2.2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and a 3,050mAh battery with fast-charging support. There are dual SIM card slots, one of which doubles as a microSD card slot with up to 128GB expandable storage support.
The features do not end just there. The handset also has a USB Type-C port along with other connectivity options, including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth v4.1. Leveling with other smartphones in its price range, Moto M has a fingerprint sensor placed at its back and Dolby Atmos brings out clear audio for entertainment buffs.
If these aren't reasons enough to convince you to buy the all-new Moto M, it should be noted that there are other alternatives such as LeEco Le Max 2, Xiaomi Mi Max and Lenovo Z2 Plus. We haven't reviewed the Moto M to test its true potential, but it looks like buyers of this phone won't be disappointed.
Where to buy and what are the offers?
Motorola has partnered with Flipkart for its online sale of Moto M smartphones in India. The first sale will be conducted on the e-commerce site at 11.59 pm on December 14. As a part of the launch offer, buyers get Rs 1,000 discount on using Citibank cards, Rs 2,000 off on exchange of an old smartphone and a Rs 1,000 discount on Moto Pulse 2 if bundled with Moto M.
