In about a few hours from now, Motorola is set to launch the new Moto X series smartphone in India.
The company is hosting a launch event this afternoon in New Delhi and Motorola has confirmed that the event will be telecast online via official YouTube channel, which is set to go live at 12:00 pm (HERE).
In the event, Motorola will reveal the price and availability details of the Moto X Play only. This report apparently led many to believe that the flagship Moto X Style, which was unveiled along with Moto X Play in America in July, may never set foot in India.
However, Motorola's official e-commerce affiliate Flipkart's director, Sandeep Karwa, on Twitter revealed that the Moto X Style will indeed go on sale in India soon, thus putting all rumours to rest.
For the uninitiated, Moto X Play is a mid-range phone. One of the key attributes of the device is that it boasts 3630 mAh high-capacity battery with enough juice to run the phone for close to 48 hours under mixed usage.
Moto X Play houses the company's proprietary Motorola Mobile Computing System with natural language processor and contextual computing processor and 1.7GHz QualcommSnapdragon 615 Octa-core chipset. The new Motorola phone is expected to be priced anywhere between Rs.20,000 and Rs. 25,000 in India.
