Motorola's flagship model Moto X, which got released in India in mid-March for ₹23,999 can now be purchased under ₹20,000 at online store.

Flipkart, official (and sole) retail partner of Motorola has introduced the promotional buy-back scheme for prospective Moto X buyers. The e-shop website is offering the phone for ₹19,999 and ₹21,999 (wood-panel based variants) with exchange for old smartphone.

Buyers have to mention their device's IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number and location of their residence to check-out if they are eligible to avail the buy-back scheme. [To check for eligibility, click here for plastic models and here for wood-panel models]

Motorola's critically acclaimed Moto X originally made its debut in the USA in August 2013. Despite constrained with limited hardware specification, it received overwhelming response primarily for its rich user-experience like innovative voice-activated command features.

'Touchless Control', a virtual voice-assistant let's user to operate phone via orally to text message, email, set notifications/remainders, check game-scores and perform more operations thanks to 'always-active' micro phone. Users just need to say 'OK, Google Now' phrase to unlock the phone-screen.

Moto X also boasts of 'Quick-Capture' gesture control based camera-launcher feature where in a user can launch the camera just by flipping the device (even in sleep mode) twice horizontally and start snapping pictures in no time.

The Motorola phone houses 10.0-megapixel main camera (with 'Clear Pixel' (RGBC) sensor, LED flash support, full HD1080p video recording), a 2.0-megapixel camera with full HD video recording ability and a 2200 mAh battery which can provide back-up for close to 24 hours.

Other stipulated specification include 4.7-inch HD (720p) AMOLED screen and packs Motorola X8 Mobile computing system architecture based 1.7GHz Qualcomm snapdragon dual-core processor, quad-core Adreno graphics engine, one natural language processor core and contextual processor backed by 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and it also come with water-repellent nano-coating inside and outside.

[Note: phone can be operated under rainy conditions, but users are advised not to take Moto X for a dip in the swimming pool]
