It's been close to three weeks since Motorola unveiled the shatterproof display-based Moto X Force. Now, the device is expected to set foot in India soon.
Motorola India chief Amit Boni, while attending the Lenovo-Motorola press event in New Delhi, confirmed that the company will indeed release flagship Moto X Force in India, but stopped short of announcing time-frame of the device's availability in the country, reported BGR India.
Last month, Motorolahad stated in the press release that Moto X Force will initially be made available in Latin America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions in November.
But, there was no mention of when the device will be released in India, but now it looks like India will be part of the phase-1 Moto X Force release programme and may probably be made available via Flipkart later this month.
For the uninitiated, Moto X Force is a global variant of Droid Turbo 2, which is sold exclusively by Verizon Wireless in the US.
The main USP of Moto X Force is its rugged display, which is said to be the most durable display protective gear in the smartphone industry.
It boasts company's proprietary 'Moto ShatterShield' display technology. It constitutes of five layers -- Aluminium chassis to form the rigid core, flexible AMOLED screen, and two layered touchscreen panels, interior lens to provide clear visibility of contents and exterior lens to provide additional protection, so that the phone's display is capable to absorb shock from the impact and is guaranteed not to shatter, says the company.

On the back-side (of base model), it boasts ballistic nylon (metalised glass fiber) that offers a distinctive design while providing ultimate durability. And also, underneath this coating, Moto X Force features Kevlar, a material that is known to be five times stronger than steel.
Under the hood, it houses powerful Snapdragon 810 series Octa-core in addition to company's proprietary Mobile computing system comprising natural language processor, contextual computing processor, 550 MHz Adreno 430 graphics engine backed by 3GB RAM and 32GB/64GB inbuilt memory.
It also houses a high capacity 3760 mAh battery which can keep the phone running for close to 48 hours of talk time. The phone also features Turbo Power technology, where in the phone can get 13 hours of power for just 15 minutes of charging.
