Images of Motorola Moto X (2015) have surfaced online revealing key design features.
A Googler, who goes by the moniker Paul Faz, has leaked an alleged image of Moto X (2015). In the photo, we see a smartphone with the trademark batwing logo on the top left corner and a front-camera with LED flash, a significant improvement compared to its predecessor. Last year's model fared well in almost departments except the camera.
If we go by the leaked snapshot, it seems like Motorola has learned lessons and ensured that the new Moto X (2015) users get enhanced photography experience. By incorporating LED flash on the front side, users will now be able to take good quality selfies even at low-light conditions. [View the full image of Moto X (2015) front panel, HERE]
In related development, technology blog Peru Android too has got hold of the similar Moto X (2015) photos. The first of the photos is identical to the one leaked by Paul Faz. But the second image, a zoomed version of Moto X (2015) front-panel shows a metallic speaker grill in the shape of a slim rectangle. Peru Android claims that this module houses a finger-print sensor.
This is in line with Google's new Android M version OS, which is confirmed to support finger-print locking system.
But, we can't still vouch for its authenticity as the speaker grill is very thin and it is very hard to imagine how Motorola can incorporate finger-print sensor in such a compact space. Samsung and Apple have equipped this kind of biometric scanners on their flagship smartphones' home button, which are bit bigger in size. [View Moto X (2015) speaker-grill image, HERE]. We just have to wait for few more days to really know What Motorola has in store for us.
Rumours are rife that Motorola's third generation Moto X will sport a 5.2-inch QHD (2560x1440p) display and run on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop powered by the Snapdragon 810 series Octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. It is also expected come equipped with 16mp camera on the back and a 5mp snapper on the front.
