Motorola Moto G4 to be available in India from June 22

Motorola has confirmed to launch the new budget model Moto G4 in India next week.

Last month, Motorola unveiled Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 on May 17 in New Delhi. The company released the former model in two variants – 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage configurations – for Rs. 13,499 and Rs. 14,999, respectively, on the very next day, but promised to roll out generic model in June.

Now, as promised, Motorola has announced via Twitter that the Moto G4 will be made available on June 22 exclusively via Amazon India like the G4 Plus variant. The price of the device is expected to be announced on Wednesday.

Both Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 share most of the specifications. The key differentiating factors between the two models is that the former houses a fingerprint sensor on the home button and superior 16MP primary camera with laser autofocus on the back, whereas the latter features a 13MP snapper on the back and it lacks biometric security sensor. Rest of specifications remains same in the both the devices.

They sport a 5.5-inch full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 shield and runs Android Marshmallow OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor, and a 3000mAh battery with Turbo charger.
