Motorola's 2014 mid-range smartphone Moto G (2 Gen) is now being offered at a discounted rate in India.
Feature-rich Motorola Moto G (2 Gen) can be grabbed for just ₹9,999, ₹3,000 less the original price of ₹12,999 on Flipkart (HERE). The company has not detailed the reason behind the price-cut, but many believe Motorola is preparing stage for the launch of the third generation Moto G (aka Moto G3). It is common practice among smartphone makers to slash prices ahead of a new device launch.

Just a week ago, rival Xiaomi reduced Redmi Note 4G's price by ₹2,000. It is also speculated to unveil Redmi Note 2 soon.

For the uninitiated, Motorola Moto G (2 Gen) sports 5.0-inch HD screen and ships with Android 4.4.4 KitKat (upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop) powered by Snapdragon 400 series quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB) and a 2,070 mAh battery.
It also houses 8mp camera with LED flash and a 2mp snapper on the front.
