Motorola has just sent out press invites for the proposed Moto C Plus launch on June 19 in India. The Moto C Plus will be the premium variant of the Moto C with a 720p HD display, faster processor and better primary camera.
Both the Moto C and Moto C Plus sport a 5-inch display, but the latter offers 720p HD resolution, instead of the FWVGA resolution seen on the former. The C Plus is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor paired with a Mali-T720 GPU.
The Moto C Plus will be available in two configurations -- 1GB or 2GB RAM with 16 GB internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 32 GB using the microSD slot.
On the camera front, the Moto C Plus boasts a superior 8 MP snapper as opposed to the 5 MP rear camera on the Moto C. Both these phones will run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and will be available in four colour variants -- Pearl White, Metallic Cherry, Fine Gold and Starry Black.
Moto C Plus with dual SIM
Prospective buyers in India are in for some great news as the Moto C Plus is expected to launch in dual-SIM 4G variant, besides supporting a 10W battery charger powered by quick-charging technology. The C Plus also comes with a powerful 4,000 mAh removable battery.
Coming to the pricing and availability details, the C Plus will sell at a starting price of €119 (roughly $133 or Rs. 8,500). Unlike the Moto C, the Moto C Plus will be available for retail sales both offline as well as online.
The exact price of the Moto C Plus is yet to be officially revealed. Nevertheless, the handset is all set to see its India launch on June 19, followed by the global event on June 27 as per the latest invite.
