Following the Moto 3rd Generation launch, Motorola also launched 2 new variants of its flagship portfolio Moto X. Unlike previous editions, Motorola unveiled 2 editions instead of one. Named Moto X Play and Moto X Style, both the devices will be available in 55 countries including the US and the UK from next month.
The Moto X Play focuses on users who require more power out of the device, while the Moto X Style will focus on fashion-conscious consumers with a dash of performance.
Motorola claims the Moto X Style is the fastest charging phone in the world. According to Motorola, the latest Moto X can be charged 50% faster than Samsung's latest flagship Galaxy S6.
Both the devices also equip impressive cameras. Both the Moto X Style and Moto X Play have a 21MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Though the Moto Turbo already features a 21MP rear camera, it packs an inferior 2MP snapper for clicking selfies.
Motorola claimed the camera packs are one of the best powerful sensors in the industry and it is capable of beating Apple's latest flagship device iPhone 6 too.
In terms of specifications, the Moto X Play packs a 5.5-inch, 1080x1920 pixels display and comes powered by a marathon 3,630 mAh battery.
Both the devices can be customized using Moto Maker and will be available as " Pure Edition", which will run on any network across the globe.
We haven't received the price update yet but Motorola hinted both the models will be priced between $300 to $400, which is at least 40% cheaper than the iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy S6.
Along with these two smartphones, Motorola also launched 2 Bluetooth headsets, the Moto Pulse and the Moto Surround. The Pulse will offer 18 hours of battery life and comes for $59.99, while the Moto Surround is a waterproof in-ear headphone with 12 hours of battery life and will be available for $69.99.
