Motorola is likely to unveil the all new Moto G (2015) at today's event in New Delhi at 4 pm and here are the details as the event unfolds.
Motorola's upcoming Moto G (2015), otherwise referred to as Moto G (3rd Gen), is probably all set to make its official debut today. Subsequently, the budget handset will be unveiled in international markets including New York City, Sao Paulo and London. In addition, Motorola is also expected to launch the third generation Moto X smartphone at today's event.
There have been several leaks outlining the specs of Moto G (2015) and Moto X (2015) in the past. Before we get started with the live coverage of the Motorola event in a few minutes, let's take a look at all the possible specs that will embrace the Moto G (2015) and the flagship Moto X (2015).
Moto G (2015) is expected to feature 5-inch HD IPS display, a 13-megapixel primary camera with dual-LED flash, a 5MP front snapper and a 2,470mAh battery.
The handset will be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor supported by 1GB RAM and 8GB onboard storage.
Interestingly, the handset has widely been rumoured to feature IPx7 water resistance certification to prevent damage from slight submersion in water or exposure to rain or moisture, Mobile Syrup reported earlier.
There aren't many details about the new Moto X smartphone but it is expected include a fingerprint scanner, 21MP primary camera, Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor and 4GB RAM. The size of the display remains unknown at the moment but it is said to have a 2K resolution screen. The water resistance will also make its way to the higher-end Moto X. Both phones will run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
