Lenovo-owned Motorola is popular for keeping the software on its Moto series clutter free, providing pure Android experience like we see in Google's Nexus and Pixel series phones. This helps them to release the updates in a timely manner.
In 2014, Motorola bested its former owner Google by rolling out Android Lollipop to the Moto G and Moto X series much before Nexus phone series. In the very same year, Motorola improved its game by opening dedicated tracker page to provide the latest information on Android mobile OS release schedule to its loyal Moto series patrons.
This year too, the company has revised its software release support page in the US and India to inform customers whether their Moto series device is eligible for the new Nougat update and provide information on the roll-out status.
Just a few days ago, Motorola commenced the global roll-out of Android Nougat to its flagship Moto Z and Z Force (including Verizon-exclusive Droid models). The company is in the final stages testing for Moto G series -- Moto G (4th Gen), Moto G Plus (4th Gen), Moto G Play (4th Gen), and is expected to release the final version to the public en masse in coming weeks.
Other Motorola devices confirmed to get Android Nougat include Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen), Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto X Force, Droid Turbo 2, Droid Maxx 2, Moto Z Play and Moto Z Play Droid.
Interested Motorola smartphone users can log into the official company support page – HERE (US) and HERE (India) to track the Android Nougat OS release status in real time. Europe page (HERE) is yet to be updated.
