Lenovo launched the Moto Z2 Play in India just a week ago with its pre-orders going live on Flipkart starting June 8 through June 14. Now, the flagship handset is up for sale on the e-commerce portal at Rs. 27,999 with no-cost EMI option and an exchange discount of Rs. 2,000.
Moto Mods are now available at up to 55 percent discount on select models. Lenovo has also introduced an additional 100GB data offer on Reliance Jio SIM cards.
Prospective Moto Z2 Play buyers can also avail the buyback guarantee offer from Flipkart for Rs. 599, wherein users will receive up to Rs. 11,000 discount on exchange of the handset on Flipkart within eight months from purchase.
If the handset is being returned after eight months and before 12 months from purchase, its exchange value will come down to Rs. 8,500.
Moto Z2 Play specifications
Coming to the specifications, the Moto Z2 Play features a 5.5in full HD Super AMOLED display with 401ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. Powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor (clocked at 2.2GHz), the smartphone ships two configurations: 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage.
Power hungry users may further expand the storage capacity to up to 2TB using the microSD slot. The Z2 Play also sports a 3.5mm jack and includes USB Type-C port.

On the camera front, the Moto Z2 Play is equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and dual autofocus lens. Additionally, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front with dual LED CCT flash.
The smartphone draws its power from a 3,000mAh battery with support for turbo-charging technology via TurboPower charger. The handset is slated to get 50 percent battery charge in 30 minutes flat, using this new charging technology.
As part of the Moto Mods, Lenovo is also offering the Turbo Power pack which provides a 3490mAh additional battery power on board. The Power pack will cost an additional $79.99 (approx. Rs. 5,100).
The Z2 Play will be available in three colour variants: black, red and Blue and avid gamers might grab the Moto GamePad with support for all games that run with physical controllers.
The handset has water resistant nano-coating on all sides and a range of sensors on board including accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope and magnetometer.
