The much awaited modular concept-based Moto Z and Moto Z Play are scheduled to go on sale in India On October 17 mid-night.
Recently, Motorola launched budget smartphone Moto E3 Power in India and its debut was a resounding success, as the company was able to sell record 100,000 units of Moto E3 Power in just 24 hours and is said to be the highest single device sale on the first day in Flipkart's history.
We expect that the Moto Z series, despite its huge price gap between the Moto E3 Power will still be able to find takers in India, as they come with really good specifications and are also compatible with detachable Mods, making it unique in the niche top-end sector.
The new Moto Z and Moto Z Play is scheduled to go on sale on Amazon India and Flipkart at 11:59 pm on October 17 for Rs. 39,999 and Rs. 24,999, respectively.

Build quality:
Like all previous flagship Motorola phones, the new Moto Z and the Z Play come with well-built bodies made of high-grade materials.
Top-end Moto Z model flaunts military aircraft-grade aluminium cover and stainless steel-based frame around the edges. On the front, it sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Shield.
On the other hand, Moto Z Play features a 5.5-inch full HD super AMOLED screen with finger print sensor at the bottom and comes with a blend of metal and glass body with aluminium frame around the edges and glass cover on the back.
To further enhance the durability, the company has used water resistant nano-coating on the back of both the Moto Z series devices.

Both the devices come same front-camera. They come packed with 5MP camera with Wide-Angle 85-degree lens, and f / 2.2 aperture.

The highlight of Motorola Moto Z and the Moto Z Play is their modular structure concept, which allows users to add a plethora of value-added portable accessories ranging from ordinary such as battery pack to cool video projector and Hasselblad Zoom lens.
Moto Z series owners need to worry about switching off the device or removing the shell on the back at all, as Moto Mods are magnet-based swappable case, which attaches to the smartphone's pogo pin connectors.
