While all the big smartphone-makers including Samsung, LG and HTC has launched their flagship devices of the year, Motorola fans are still eagerly waiting for Moto X Gen 3 from the company.
Going by earlier leaks and Motorola VP Rick Osterloh's tweet, Motorola is expected to launch Moto X 3rd Generation by September this year.
Recently, YouTube Channel Total Tech leaked a video with a bamboo-finished rear panel and claimed that the device is the upcoming Moto X. On the video, the device has been spotted with little modification in the design language. If the video is to believed, the upcoming smartphone sports the rear camera module along with the LED flash and Motorola logo in chrome-finished metal band.
And now a new leak by MyDrivers shows a couple of spy images of the rear panel. In the image there is a square hole just below the camera sensor, which the report claims of a fingerprint sensor, which is expected to be hidden under the Motorola logo.
The report also claims that the upcoming Moto X 3rd Generation will feature a USB Type-C interface and that the device is expected to be available in two sizes. The bigger Moto X 3rd Generation will sport a 5.64-inch display, while the other one will boast a 5.64-inch display. Both the displays will purportedly feature 1440x2560 pixel resolution and will also come with a powerful 16mp rear camera.
Powered by a Snapdragon 810 Soc, the Moto X 3rd Generation is expected to come with 4GB RAM memory.
