Lenovo and its Motorola subsidiary have released a handful of devices over the last few months, including a few from the Z-series. Now, live images of the Lenovo Moto M codenamed XT-1662 have been leaked, giving a clearer idea of its looks.
The Chinese company is yet to reveal the release date of Moto M, but it has been certified by the Chinese telecom equipment certification authority TENAA, giving a hint that it could be launched soon. It wouldn't come as a surprise if it is unveiled in the next couple of months.
Moto M leaked images published by TechDroider show the device with a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1,080x1,920p resolution, a MediaTek processor, an Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, a 32GB internal memory and a 4GB RAM. It is also seen with a 16MP main camera and an 8MP secondary camera.
It was earlier reported that the new device will come packed with 32GB internal memory and 3GB RAM, mounts a 16MP main camera and a 5MP front-snapper and 3,000mAh battery. There were also reports doing the rounds that Lenovo will release Moto M (XT-1662) along with another handset codenamed XT-1663 with a 4.6-inch display and a MediaTek MT6750 processor.
It may be mentioned that Lenovo released Z2 Plus on Thursday in India. It comes in two RAM+Storage configurations and will be exclusively available for Rs 17,999 on Amazon India from September 25. It had earlier released devices like Moto Z, Moto Z Force, Moto Z Play, Vibe P2, K6, K6 Power, and K6 Note.
