Prolific tipster Roland Quandt has posted several image renders of Moto G5 Plus draped in Midnight Blue colour, ahead of its exclusive launch in Latin America. The leaked images are widely speculated to be the first press renders of the handset with shots taken from all the angles.

Apart from the Midnight Blue colour, the G5 Plus is also available in two other colours: Gold and Lunar Grey. The Midnight Blue seems to be an exclusive colour for Latin American market while there is no word on its precise release date to the public. Nevertheless, the other two colour variants are already available in select markets across the world.
A closer look at the leaked renders confirms its design aesthetics is identical to the other two colour variants, launched in February at the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona.

Coming to the design elements of the handset, the camera sensor is placed on the back while the fingerprint sensor on the front doubles up a home button. One can also notice the volume rocker and power button on the left side of the device.
The list of confirmed specifications for the handset includes a 5.2in full HD display powered by Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2GHz, 3000mAh battery, a 12MP main camera on the rear and a 5MP selfie camera on the front.
The Midnight Blue variant of Moto G5 Plus will be available in two configurations: 2GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage.
The G5 Plus is expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and its display flaunts the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The handset is marketed as a mid-range smartphone and comes with the recently launched Google Assistant software.
